War Orphan Education Program (War Orphan Education Program)
Waives tuition and fees at West Virginia state colleges and gives up to $1,000 per semester (up to $2,000 a year) for books and other costs to the children and surviving spouses of veterans who died in service or have a permanent and total service-connected disability.

Surviving spouses and children under 26 of a service member or veteran who died in the line of duty, is missing in action, or has a permanent and total service-connected disability, once their federal Chapter 35 or Fry Scholarship benefits run out.
