WDVA Grants for Nonprofit Organizations (WDVA Nonprofit Grants)

WDVA makes grants to Wisconsin nonprofits that serve veterans: a Nonprofit Grant of up to $25,000 per grant period, an Entrepreneurship Grant of up to $100,000 for groups that train veteran entrepreneurs, and a Veterans Mental Health Community-Based Organization Grant of up to $100,000.

Who it is for

Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits that provide financial assistance or services to veterans and their dependents, or that run veteran mental health programs. The Entrepreneurship Grant is also open to 501(c)(6) organizations that help veteran entrepreneurs.

  2. Apply online when a window opens; applications are online only.

Deadline: Grants are awarded annually and applications are accepted only during announced windows. As of July 5, 2026 all three grant application windows were marked closed on the WDVA page, with no reopening dates listed. (Annual cycle)
