Veterans Innovations Program (VIP) (VIP)
State financial assistance for Washington veterans who served on or after September 11, 2001 and are facing a financial hardship. Help has included preventing eviction, foreclosure, and utility shutoff, plus support for employment, education, and transportation needs.
Who it is for
Washington resident veterans who served on or after September 11, 2001, whose income is not enough to meet basic needs. You qualify if you served under honorable conditions, are eligible for federal VA benefits, or were discharged less than honorably solely because of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Focus: Post-9/11 veterans, Homeless or at risk, LGBTQ+ veterans
