Texas State Veterans Homes (State Veterans Homes)

The Texas Veterans Land Board owns and runs ten state veterans homes that provide long-term skilled nursing care and rehabilitation for Texas veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star parents. Veterans with a 70 percent or higher service-connected disability can generally live in these homes at no cost.
