Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans (SC Disabled Veteran Property Tax Exemption)
Veterans with a total, permanent, service-connected disability can get their home, up to five acres of land, and up to two personal vehicles exempted from property tax. Medal of Honor recipients and former POWs from World War I through Vietnam qualify for a similar exemption, as do qualifying surviving spouses.
