Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Cemetery
The commonwealth's only state veterans cemetery, on the campus of the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home in Erie. It has more than 1,300 gravesites on four acres and dates to 1886, with graves from the Civil War era onward. It is open to the public daily from dawn to dusk.

Veterans who served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces or Pennsylvania Military Forces, were discharged under honorable conditions, and were residents of the Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home at the time of death.
