PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Program (Dwyer Peer Support)

A free, confidential veteran-to-veteran peer support program that runs in counties across New York State. Trained veteran peers meet with fellow veterans and family members, in person and virtually, to reduce isolation and support emotional wellness and recovery.

Who it is for

Veterans of any era and branch, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses, family members, caregivers, and survivors who live in New York. There is no cost and no VA enrollment required. Because the program is county-based, you connect through the Dwyer program serving your county.

Focus: National Guard and Reserve, Post-9/11 veterans
