Nevada State Veterans Memorial Cemeteries Burial Benefit (NV Veterans Cemetery Burial)
Nevada operates state veterans memorial cemeteries in Fernley (Northern Nevada) and Boulder City (Southern Nevada). Burial for an eligible veteran is provided at no charge, including the plot, opening and closing, concrete vault, headstone, and perpetual care. Burial of an eligible spouse or dependent carries a fee of $450 (subject to change). Mortuary fees are not covered.
Who it is for
Veterans whose burial eligibility mirrors the criteria used by the VA National Cemetery Administration, plus their eligible spouses and dependents. Reserve component members with 20 or more years qualifying for retirement, or those who died honorably on active duty or training, are also eligible. The cemetery verifies all eligibility.
