New Mexico State Veterans' Home (NM State Veterans' Home)

A state-run skilled nursing home in Truth or Consequences for veterans who need long-term care, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy, and specialized care. It is the state's first and only veterans home.

Who it is for

Honorably discharged veterans with 90 or more days of service and their spouses, Gold Star Parents who lost a child in military service, and certain reserve component members who meet residency requirements. Preference is given to New Mexico residents when there is a waiting list, but veterans from any state may apply.
