New Jersey Veterans Haven Transitional Housing (Veterans Haven)

A state-run two-year transitional housing program for homeless veterans, with two sites: Veterans Haven North in Glen Gardner (Hunterdon County) and Veterans Haven South in Winslow Township (Camden County). On-site staff provide counseling and social services, addiction treatment, vocational rehabilitation, nursing, and help with veterans benefits.

Who it is for

Homeless veterans who qualify as a veteran under US Department of Veterans Affairs guidelines, are registered with the VA, and are drug and alcohol free at the time of admission. A limited number of veterans who do not meet every standard may still be eligible.
