Nebraska Veterans Cemetery System
State veterans cemeteries at Alliance and Grand Island that provide a burial place for Nebraska veterans and their eligible spouses and dependents. There are no fees for any services provided at the cemetery, an upright marble headstone is provided for each grave, and full military funeral honors and perpetual care are provided.

Nebraska veterans discharged under conditions other than dishonorable, and their eligible spouses and dependents. Eligibility follows the same federal rules as VA national cemeteries under Title 38; families can submit an Eligibility Determination Request Form to confirm status.
