Nebraska Veterans' Homes
Four state-run veterans' homes in Kearney, Bellevue, Norfolk, and Scottsbluff providing assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and therapy services. Member contributions follow a sliding scale based on income and assets, and veterans rated 70 to 100 percent service-connected may receive care at no cost once eligibility is verified.
Who it is for
Veterans who served on active duty with an honorable or general discharge, and Nebraska National Guard members with active duty for training, who have lived in Nebraska for at least two years during their lifetime. Spouses, surviving spouses, and Gold Star spouses and parents may also qualify.
