Funding State Montana University System (MUS)

Honorably Discharged Veteran Tuition Waiver (Veteran Tuition Waiver)

Waives in-state tuition for eligible Montana veterans at Montana University System campuses. It is a last-dollar award, meaning it covers the tuition left over after all other grants and scholarships are applied. It does not cover fees.

Who it is for

Montana residents attending a Montana University System campus who received an honorable discharge (not Honorable Under General Conditions) for active-duty service other than training, and who have used up or run out of their VA education benefits under Title 38 or Title 10. Students must keep satisfactory academic progress.
