Minnesota Veterans Homes (Veterans Homes)
State-run homes that provide skilled nursing care, dementia and Alzheimer's special care, domiciliary care, rehabilitation, and recreational and work therapy for Minnesota veterans and eligible spouses. All residents must need skilled nursing care.
Who it is for
Veterans discharged under honorable conditions from any branch who are current Minnesota residents and served 181 consecutive days on active duty (unless discharged earlier for a service-connected disability), and spouses of eligible veterans who are at least 55 and meet residency rules. All residents must require skilled nursing care.
