Michigan Veteran Homes (MVH)

State-run homes that provide skilled nursing care for eligible Michigan veterans, with a focus on long-term care, dementia and memory care, and palliative care. There are three homes: Grand Rapids, Chesterfield Township, and D.J. Jacobetti in Marquette.

Who it is for

Eligible Michigan veterans who need skilled nursing or long-term care. A dependent of a veteran who is eligible for admission, or who was eligible at the time of the veteran's death, may also qualify. Contact the admissions office at the home you are interested in to confirm eligibility.
