Waives tuition and school-imposed fees at Louisiana public colleges and universities for qualifying children and spouses of veterans.

Children of a living Louisiana veteran (including children of a veteran rated 90% or more disabled, or 100% due to individual unemployability); spouses of a veteran who is a prisoner of war or missing in action; and surviving spouses and children of a deceased veteran.

How to apply
- Contact your local parish veterans service office and schedule an appointment with a veterans assistance counselor.
- Bring documentation of the veteran's service and status (living, deceased, or POW/MIA) so the counselor can confirm eligibility.
- Once approved, a certificate is mailed to the student to give to their school's administrative office.
