Kentucky State Veterans Centers (State Veterans Nursing Centers)

Five state-run long-term care homes for Kentucky veterans, offering 24/7 skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation, and secured memory care for veterans with dementia or Alzheimer's. Veterans with a VA disability rating of 70% or higher have their care fully covered by a VA per diem with no out-of-pocket cost.

Who it is for

Kentucky-resident veterans with an other-than-dishonorable discharge who need skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or memory care and whose medical needs the center can meet. The centers accept VA per diem, Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and insurance.
