IDVA Veteran Service Officer Network (Illinois VSO Locator)
A statewide network of Veteran Service Officers, themselves fellow veterans accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, who give free help with compensation and pension claims, health care, education, employment, burial and survivor benefits, housing, and military records. Offices can also serve veterans remotely.

Any Illinois veteran, dependent, or survivor who wants free, in-person or remote help applying for federal and state benefits. Women veterans can request a female Veteran Service Officer.
