Property Tax Benefit for 100% Disabled Veterans (Disabled Veteran Property Tax Reduction)

Cuts the property tax bill on a disabled veteran's home and up to one acre of land by as much as $1,500 a year, with no income limit.

Who it is for

Veterans rated 100% service-connected disabled by the VA (or receiving 100% individual unemployability pay) who own and live in their Idaho home as their main home and have a homeowner's exemption on file. Surviving spouses can keep using the benefit on the same home after the veteran's death, but it does not transfer if they move.

Focus: Veterans with disabilities, Surviving spouses and families
