Veterans Community Living Centers (VCLCs)

Colorado runs five state veterans homes that provide long-term skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, hospice, and respite care for aging veterans and certain family members. Medicaid, Medicare (for short-term rehabilitation), private pay, and VA benefits are accepted.

Who it is for

Honorably discharged veterans, veterans' spouses or widows, and Gold Star parents are eligible for long-term care or short-term rehabilitation. Medical criteria must also be met.
