Arizona Veterans' Donation Fund Grants (VDF Grants)
Makes grants to organizations that serve Arizona veterans and their families, funded by donations and specialty license plate sales. Small grants run up to $4,999.99 and large grants run from $5,000 to $150,000.

How to apply
- For a small grant under $5,000, download the application and budget worksheet from the ADVS page and submit them with a W-9; ADVS decides within 30 days of receiving a complete proposal.
- For a large grant of $5,000 to $150,000, apply through the eCivis online grants system during the annual application window announced on the ADVS page.
- Focus your proposal on direct services to veterans in areas like housing, basic needs, employment, or mental health, which ADVS prioritizes.
Deadline: Small grant proposals are accepted throughout the year, dependent on available funding. Large grants run on an annual cycle; the 2026 large grant window ran October 16 to December 1, 2025 and is now closed, so watch the ADVS page for the next cycle. (Deadline varies)
