Arizona State Veteran Homes (ASVH)
Arizona operates four Medicare-certified skilled nursing homes for eligible veterans and their spouses, located in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson, and Yuma. The homes provide long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitative care for geriatric and chronically ill veterans and dependent or surviving spouses.
Who it is for
Honorably separated veterans, or the spouse of a veteran, who need skilled nursing care as determined by a physician. There must also be documented evidence of the absence of tuberculosis. Admission information and forms come from the Admissions Coordinator at each home.
