Pays tuition and educational fees, based on financial need, for current Alabama National Guard members attending public colleges, universities, community colleges, or technical schools in Alabama. The 2025-2026 award is capped at $6,227 per semester or $4,151.33 per quarter, up to $12,454 total for the year.
Who it is for
Active members in good standing with a federally recognized unit of the Alabama National Guard who are at least 17 years old, have finished basic training, are Alabama residents, and are enrolled in a certificate or degree program at an Alabama public school. Requires at least a 2.0 GPA for undergraduates or 3.0 for graduate students at the end of each semester, and the applicant must show at least $100 in remaining costs after other financial aid is applied. Covers up to 120 academic hours for undergraduates and 60 for graduate students.

- Have the form signed by your school's financial aid officer and by your unit's Education Services Officer, who confirms you have completed basic training.
