Alaska Veterans' Employment Services (Alaska Job Center Network) (AK Veterans Employment Services)
Free employment help for veterans and eligible spouses or caregivers through the Alaska Job Center Network, including priority of service and specialized help from Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) staff and Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVER). Services cover job searching, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and career counseling.
Who it is for
Veterans who served at least one day of active service and were discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable, plus eligible spouses and caregivers, get priority of service at all Alaska Job Centers. DVOP staff at the Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Mat-Su job centers provide added help for veterans with barriers to employment.
